New Jeans :-)

I am feeling MUCH better this week. Great for me - not so great for the “diet” LOL. It’s definitely time for me to get back to my daily workout routine ;-)

In fact, I’m going to start this morning! (Note to self: Grab your water bottle! It’s time to get back in the habit of drinking at least 48oz/day!)

My scales havent moved this week at all. I’m not complaining, though, because I still have that ten pounds missing… and havent gained any of it back :-)

To give you an idea of what losing 10lbs has meant to me - I’ll have to make an embarrassing confession: When we began the challenge I was wearing a size 16 in jeans (and very snugly I might add). I went out shopping this week, and am now wearing size 14… with plenty of room in them!

We are all built different, and “ideal weight” can be a personal preference too. For me, I feel and look best in a size 11 or 12. My goal would be to get at least somewhat tone and maintain around a size 11.

Prior to this recent weight gain (last two years), I had always been incredibly thin. At one point I was even a size 3 in juniors - and even after the birth of my 2nd child, a size 6 in juniors. I look back at my pictures… and really dont like the way that I looked then.

Of course, I dont like the way I look or feel in a 16 either - AT ALL. Going down just one size (actually more like a size and a half, and feeling very close to two sizes!!) makes a HUGE difference in how I feel - and what I want to wear. It is VERY motivating :-)

I like to be realistic, and also shoot for the size where I look my best (for my shape & height) - - more so than what any book or chart might say. What about you? What is your ideal size/weight?

    A size 6 in juniors???

Gee, I always figured you for around 5′10″…the tall and statuesque type!

Ahh well - I am 5′7″. Rather tall for a woman, at least. And yes I was VERY THIN in my 20’s… but that just doesnt suit me anymore. I prefer to have a figure :p

By the way, I blew any kind of a “diet” at dinner tonight - LOL. I cooked two pounds of crab legs (with melted butter to dip them in), baked potatoes (smothered in butter, sour cream & salt, of course) - and garlic cheese bread.

    YUM!!

That’ll take me all week to correct ;)
