Taking The Plunge…Slowly

OK.

As agreed, I actually weighed myself on Sunday.

The scale read 243 pounds.

Gotta get a new scale.

For me (I’m 6′), that means an extra 30 pounds to go.

I’m attempting to complete Phase 1 of the South Beach diet again with two short walks and some light weight training daily.

Such sensibility is new for me. I usually go all out, but this time I’ll ease into it to start.

When you have two energetic boys who often get sudden urges to wrestle with Dad, exhaustion can be dangerous!

    That is great Dan! I did South Beach 2 years ago and lost 10 pounds (since added back though :(). Phase 1 was difficult but worth it and I learned a lot. It’s great that you’re getting moving, every little bit helps.
